A MONTHLY SERIES FOR WOMEN
The Portal
An intentional movement and meditation series
Keith House, Fort Worth | 3rd Sundays of the month
Your body was made to move for joy.
This is your invitation to remember that.
Once a month, we gather at one of Fort Worth's most contemplative spaces to breathe, move, and find stillness together.
The Portal is not a fitness class. It is not a performance. It is a container. Held with care. For women who are ready to come home to themselves.
You don't need to be a dancer. You don't need a perfect practice. You just need to be willing to feel.
WHAT WE’LL EXPLORE TOGETHER
Skyspace meditation
Grounding in James Turrell's Come to Good — where art, light, and sky open the practice.
Mind, body, spirit
Intentional time to integrate — journaling, deep rest, and quiet nature walks.
Intentional movement
Heart-pumping flow that follows sensation and rhythm, not choreography. Your body and breath lead.
Community
Building deeper connections with women rooted in Fort Worth.
You'll leave feeling more grounded, and more connected to your body and breath.

THE LOCATION
Keith House, Fort Worth
Nestled within a grove of trees, the Keith House is home to Come to Good — artist James Turrell's 99th Skyspace, a contemplative architectural work that draws the open sky into the room. Inspired by Quaker traditions of quiet presence and commissioned as a gift to the community, it holds the same spirit we bring to our practice: stillness, intention, and an open invitation to arrive fully.
YOUR GUIDE
Angelica
LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPIST · MOVEMENT GUIDE · FORT WORTH
I'm a Mexican-American healer, mom, wife, educator, and activistpreneur rooted in Fort Worth. My work lives at the intersection of movement, massage, and intention. And it all points toward the same place: helping women find their way back to themselves. I believe that a woman at home in her body is a woman who knows her own power. The Portal is an extension of that belief, offered monthly, in community, in a space that holds us both.

From the moment you arrive, you'll be held in a tranquil, inviting atmosphere designed to help you settle in and feel at ease. The experience weaves together guided meditation, joyful body-led movement, and meaningful connection with like-minded women. You'll leave feeling more grounded, in yourself, in your body, and in community.
-
Body-led movement means you move like you. There is no performance, no "right" way. You listen to how your body is feeling and honor that. Moving in ways that feel nurturing, honest, and joyful to you. Some moments may feel expansive and free; others soft and still. All of it is welcome.
-
The Portal is open to all women, of all ages and all bodies. You don't need any experience with meditation or movement. You simply need to be willing to show up. There are also ample spaces for women who prefer to participate from a seated position throughout the entire experience.
-
Yes! Expecting moms are warmly welcomed and can benefit from this practice deeply. Because movement is entirely body-led, you move only in ways that feel right for you and your body at this stage. There is no pressure, no pushing, only invitation. As always, please check in with your care provider if you have any specific concerns.
-
We encourage you to arrive early and give yourself the gift of transition time. Gates open at 10:10am. Wander the natural grounds, settle into the covered patio, breathe in the surroundings, and let the outside world fall away before we begin. Arriving early isn't just practical, it's part of the experience.

This first Portal gathering is intentionally offered at a lower rate as an act of welcome. The goal is to lower the threshold so that more women can step through the door, feel the practice in their body, and discover its value for themselves. It is the beginning of something beautiful, and we want as many women as possible in the room for it.
